A-40258, 1930-31 Model A COWL BANDS, HIGH POLISHED Stainless Steel. Complete with fasteners and formed bolts welded in place. Duplicate of the original cowl band. We use a bolt, stamp it in one of our dies. It forms the bolt for a perfect fit. Then our bolt is welded to the Cowl Band. After the bolt is welded, we polish each band.

Then our bolt is welded to the Cowl Band. After the bolt is welded, they are each carefully packaged to ship to you.

Word Of Caution, Prime This Cowl Band Or It Will Start Rusting.

Clean Up Any Surface Rust You Have If This Comes With Any On it Before You Prime It.

We use the same gage steel that Henry used. Then we stamp a bolt to form it to fit on the inside of the formed-up Cowl Band. Then the bolts are welded in place with filler to give a good strong bond between the bolt and the cowl band material. We also make these with a slightly longer bolt so it’s easier to mount the cowl band onto your car.
