A-13921 ~ 1930-31 Model A Hub Caps
It Takes Around 10 Separate Dies To Make These Correct Hub Caps. Starting From Blanking The Material To Finally Crimping Them Together. It’s A Lot Of Work But They Are Worth It.
When I bought The Tooling I was Told All Of The Tooling Was From The Original Ford Plant. I Know I Have Seen Other Reproduction Hub Caps And They Are NOT The Same. For An Example, The Area Where The Ford Script Is Stamped, Ours Is Domed Like The Originals. I Have Seen Some With That Surface That Is Flat Which Makes Manufacturing Them Easier But They Aren’t Correct.
After All The Work You Have Done To Restore Your Car Or Truck, Why Cheap Out On A Hub Cap That Looks Like Crap?
These Are Made Right Here By Us In Ohio And Are Show Quality.
These Are Made With Polished Stainless Steel But You Might Want to Touch Them Up A Bit. I Am Not A Polisher And I Can’t Wait On Mine To Do These When I Cant Even Get My Cowl Bands Back. Very Frustrating For Me.
