Who We Are
We have been making Model A, Model T and Early Ford Parts since 2011 when I purchased all of the dies and tooling from a gentleman that had been making these parts for years. His wife and he decided it was finally time for him to retire.
We sold to all the Model A and Model T and Early V8 Dealers in the United States until we closed the business in early 2020. I caught Covid 19. I had huge blood clots throughout my body and a pulmonary saddle embolism. I thank God every night for saving my life from this. After recovering from that I decided to start the business again but on a more limited basis since I retired from my full-time engineering job in 2024.
I must say, we have come to love these cars. I never knew anything about them when I first got into this business, and I have learned a lot about them, but I have a whole lot more to learn. I guess they just get into your blood after a while.
Someday, my wife and I would love to get a 30-31 closed cab pickup truck. We fell in love with them the first time we went to Hershey as a parts vendor, and we saw one in the auction tent.
As a side note, we don’t buy parts from other companies. And we have never bought anything from an overseas dealer or manufacturer. Everything we sell, we make, right here in Ohio!
I, (Dale’s) Background started as an Auto Body Paint and Repair man in high school. After having my ankle removed at the age of 20 due to arthritis. I was born with what the Drs. call a severe club foot. My left foot was upside down and pointing backwards. I had numerous surgeries growing up. My summer vacation in grade school was spent in the hospital having another operation. At the age of 12 the Drs. stopped the growth in my right leg just below the knee so my left leg could catch up. I had around a 3 1/2″ buildup on my left shoe. It almost worked until I had my ankle removed. Now my left leg is around 1 3/4 shorter than my right.
So, after I had my ankle removed, I had to find another career or the Dr. told me they would have to go in and do the same surgery to the bones in my foot, and the ankle was bad enough, so I didn’t want any part of that.
So, I taught myself algebra and went back to school and studied Tool and Die Design Engineering Technologies.
I earned my Journeyman’s Card working for a major tool and die shop designing dies, machines, gages, fixtures, jigs for the automotive industry, appliance manufacturers, and an extensive experience in Jet engine tool design for Pratt Whitney for almost 20 years.
I was made engineering supervisor eventually and led the design of all machines and tooling for this tool and die company. I have worked in aerospace, medical device design and commercial product design. My passion is muscle cars. In high school I had a 1969 Mach 1, 69 GTO. Since then, I have had Chevys, Mopar and AMC muscle cars. Currently my project is restoring a 1970 AMC, AMX that I have had for over 30 years and finally able to start on it.
I want to personally thank each and every one of you for purchasing our products and I hope they are the best parts you have ever bought.
Thank you,
Dale A.
